designing Drip for Trees on a 1 horse pump

    Yes, seeing as they come as part of the "Drip Control Zone Kit" I have used them quite often. The 1/2" diameter seat appears to be fused into the regular DV valve body. Pretty good valve for very low flow situations.

    Why not just use (3) .5gpm flood bubblers per tree? You get your 18gpm with no cycle stop valve, they are pressure compensating so all would be the same output and you can put down a calculated amount of water every time.

    I sometimes believe there are people in the trade unable to conceive of drip irrigation that employs anything other than emitter tubing.
