i've never heard of a lawn company being sued before. at least not in my area of the country.

you can't kill grass cutting it too short. it will always grow back.

here in the summer time my dad's yard is 1.5" tall since he cuts it low. the neighbor's is about 3" tall. they both turn brown at the same time. the shorter looks better even when it's brown. as soon as it rains they both turn green again and the shorter yard looks awesome while the taller yard looks shaggy and out of control. this is on southern warm season grasses.

maybe cutting it a little taller will make it stay green for a few more days but it's not enough to matter. if it's hot and dry it still turns brown and looks worse since it's taller. might as well mow it short and not worry about it.

Can't kill grass by cutting it too short? You sure as hell can. St Aug will not grow back after a scalping.

I cut at 3.5. Always have. Never once even adjusted the deck height. Not once.

so. i get a call from guess who..... I do not know why, but he wants me to do it again..... and in a hurry. so as desperate for work as i am i aired up my tire and brought the compressor with me.

i'm not sure how long this relationship will last.

first off. it took me an hour. real quick 20 bucks huh. had to mow it twice, i was going to anyway. then i cannot get my mower in the back. by the way. don't use wolverine lawn service, they have destroyed his corner siding piece as well as trimed holes in the bottom piece. no excuse for that its 4 inches above the ground.

oh, and his turf? yea. its 4 to 6 inches above the pavement. i'm out there edging with my trimmer like yall southerners.

so i get done mowing. what comes next? of course. you guessed it. askin for free stuff....

    ugh!

Do you do commercial as well as residential? Most commercial I see want lower than that, and the schools and athletic fields all want lower.

3.5 is pretty high for normal conditions
