Anybody try a diesel powered trimmer? Are they heavy? Is it durable?

We had diesel engine for RC airplane before. They do work well. They do have small engine.....below 1cc. Yes I had one diesel engine ENYA brand that the cylinder took off ( air born ) on me!!!!!!:laughing::laughing: Other brand like Taifun were much better. Believe me, it sounded funny the cylinder air born now. When I was a kid, spending all my pocket money to buy the engine and the cylinder air born, it wasn't funny that time:cry::cry:!!

I will buy one just to have one. I don't think Stihl make one.
