The title threw me, I was thinking you have got to be kidding! LOL :) The stand on "stander" works well on slopes if they have a wide stance say 52" or better. A 32" or a 36" is not much on hills. Most will also say that they are easier to manuever in tight spots, especially on the trailer, since you can park them sideways if your trailer is wide enough.

I have limited experience.... and only with one brand... but for me.....

It is quick as a cat for agility...

    Excellent weight distribution.....

VERY short wheel base, great for tight quarters..... better than my same cut size walk behind....

Lighter weight than same cut size ZTR.....

Easy on/off machine for debris pickup.....

Buy a good one and love it..... or buy a bad one and curse it.....

with a stander you can step off the back if yoo lose control of the mower and it starts heading towards a lake or something. With a zero turn it is harder to get off
