    When i purchased my 2008 GM, the duramax/allison was an additional $8400. I think that was a lot of money, but i love the truck, it runs great & i plan to keep it for a long time! Im not sure i would be willing to shell out an additional $10,000. for the diesel/automatic ?

    My cousin's a diesel mechanic that go to run and look over the new 6.7

    This is your justification for calling this a sweet engine? Lets see how they hold up their first year in the field.

    How about first and second year..First year engines are going to have bugs to be worked out.

    True... I'd go with 7.3 power in a new truck today. Proven,reialbe,but suck fuel.
