Has anyone ever had any sucess using a 19-3-5 fert and dimension 0.08 ai. combo? The reason i ask this is, Jonathan green is having a sale soon and it will be selling for $16.95 for a 50# Bag. Thats quite a savings. However i am skeptical, I've always used a.10 or .15. Also if i do split apps. i like doing spring and fall. will .08 get me to fall?

If you are worried about the difference in .08 and .1, put out a little extra. Make your AI per 1000 equal.

What was the %N on the carrier that you have used in the past?

    0.15% 19-0-6 30%PPSCU goes for $28.62
    0.10% 19-0-6 30%PPSCU Goes for $28.42
    0.08% 19-3-5 40% UFLEXX goes for $16.95

If that will work then profit margin is greatly higher.
Might have to keep the P-E crabgrass spray handy though.:dizzy:

Find a new supplier for the PPSCU. Your paying almost double no matter what your usage. I dont know about uflexx

You need about twice as much of the .08% AI material to apply the same control as the .15%

So apples to apples on crabrass control, your cost will be higher.....

Plus, you'll probably be blasting your turf with excessive N

What is the AIA target for your area?

Not many suppliers here - Lesco (which are the higher priced ones) and jonathan Green ( the lower price) I like JG but there selection sucks on combo products Example 2 pre emergent combo fert. the one w/ dimension that i posted w.08% 19-3-5 and pendimethalin 20-3-4 .86% ai.
    what choice do i have?

Lesco sells 19-0-6 .10 30% slow for $21.61. Prices might vary per store and how much you buy.
