Finished up another week at the farm today, man it was hot!

I've got trench fever. today I dug a trench down from the barn to the arena. Installed 2 power lines and a 1" water line, then my 3" irrigation line.

So this big heavy roll of wire is hard to move around, so I put them hand tools to good use, stick the rake throught the roll, hook my chocker rope on each end and pick it up, unrolls nice and easy!

Lined all the machines up for the weekend, hopefully someone will come by and detail them all before I get back on monday:laugh:

You don't have to seperate the water and electric into different trenches? I doubt your having code check it out but what is the code down there? Just curious

yeah I got 500' of pipe in the ground alone today, plus installing all the T's for the sprinker heads and plumbing those!

I think I spent 2 days on 250' where the rock was.

there wont be any rock here, its all fill.

How hard can it be? Dig it, hop in the hole, run your pipe, hop back on the machine?

I know it cant be all that hard, I've done it before and thats all Dad used to do. Course its easier with 2 or 3 guys, it is alot harder on one..
