I run an Exmark 48 wb w a mulch kit but its getting about that time to take it off.
My only problem is the stock metal chute doesn't get much distance out of the clippings, its to low. Does anyone have a solution. Maybe another chute would work or I could make one.

Why don't you want to cut year round with the mulch kit? I plan on getting one for my 36" mower and using it all the time. I'm getting tired of blowing clippings into my flower beds.

It just gets to thick. It's already starting to clog up on a few of my biweekly accounts.

What about the baffles for the mulch kit. I don't want to take those off everytime I need to discharge.

Fab yourself a rubber deflector like Toro has... or see if Toro's will fit yours and how much...

This style deflector is the best I've seen if you feel you must run one.

Thanks envy. That sounds like the best way to go.
