O.k. I'm considering throwing out a promotion with the local pizza parlor, just wondered what everyone's experience was as far as response to the two different offerings. Example, with the purchase of a chemical application customer gets a 50% discount on a medium one topping pizza or with purchase of chemical application customer gets a free desert pizza. Now both are about a $5 value, but I would be inclined to believe the free would sell more apps than the discount. What do you all think and if you've tried something similar what has your response been like? This is in a small (population 2000) town about 4 miles from my home/shop. I didn't target it last year but am going to market more to this town this year due to its close proximity.
