Not sure if the right place for this but this is where I use them when we rent. I have looked at a few used ones, mini's that is and then came across a DW model and then seen the zzahn. That looks great. Anyone with expereince with this machine. I assume you can get all attachments like on other mini's on the market. Mainly be used for landscaping, pulling irrigation pipe, maybe auger at times, places where the yard is fenced in and no way to get a skid of mini excav. in yard without major turf, fence, etc removal and or damage.

I run all bobcat stuff now and was set on a MT52 just keeping all things the same but I missed out on a great deal, trailer pkg and all so now looking at DW zahn model.

The Zahn looks good to me, but I've never operated one. I love the MT52 Bobcats though... I would go with that if you can get one. Blows a Dingo away.

i have a Zahn and run it almost every day. I love the thing. Has a insane amount of power, doesnt tear up the turf, super easy for new guys to run. I will be getting a second one in the spring for sure.

    they arnt cheap though....

I would encourage you to look at the DW sk650--more power and a little more versatility on the landscape side. It might not do as well for pulling pipe but will be your go to machine for digging out walkways. It will absolutely blow the MT 52 out of the water.

so really the sk650 is more versatile? Better than the mt 52?

I think i would buy whatever you can get the best deal on. They are all super productive. A guy has a dw650 on the equip listings on this forum for sale, but its not a steal. I have seen mt52s for 5-7k with low hours.

I wonder if the zahn would have an advantage for pulling pipe? What would have better traction?

zahn wont tear up turf when pulling. a 650 will have way more traction.....it is on tracks....

well except when doing turns... then it doesn't have traction.
