I've got a Dixie Chopper classic with a leaking axle seal..works fine...just leaks.
I ordered a seal kit ..looked at the schematic and read the instructions...The problem is that the parts breakdown and the wheelmotor dont quite look the same..
    Its a White..Model HB1427537GX Ser # 25122962
The kit # I got is Magic Circle 901086 Also has # 300333700 on the bag..
Does the seal come out the axle end or do I have to press out the needle bearings and take it out the back ?
Fortunately I have a junk wheelmotor to practice on before I tear up the good one..and a few spare parts,,

Thanx...But this is a White wheelmotor ...not a Parker...
Just trying to find the easiest way to replace the shaft seal,,and get the right sealkit.
Always replaced the wheelmotors when I ran the shop...

Well i couldnt find any videos on rebuilding White motors so i posted these. They are similar enough that you should still watch them before you proceed.

Appreciate it...But they are as different as Ford and Toyota..
I am well versed in theory , operation and troubleshootiing wheelmotors and hydropumps..

    Well Slapper,

From what I see you have the wrong kit, Click this link and you'll find both parts and srevice PDF's for the HB series wheel motors...... You can replace the seal from the outside.....

Thanx RestroRob....was hoping you'd warm up that mainframe at RestroRob Central...
Thankyou too 290..I'm sure someone reading this thread will be helped by your input...

Next Question...can I replace the seal and the dust seal without disassembly ?
I have a fair collection of neat tools...

Sure...... That's if you have the right tool in that neat collection, I myself wouldn't go to the extra work of opening it.....

Yeah...... it does take a few minutes to get everything all fired up round here....
