I have a 2001 XW2500 60" Dixie Chopper with a 25 horse Kohler engine. I have in excess of 1200 hours on it now with only 2 repairs. One was the throttle cable broke and the other was a brake cable. It even has the original belts on it. It is an incredible mowing machine but it falls a little short on power for my conditions.

I have a 92-94 XW2000 20HP Kohler w/ 60" cut with a little over 1900 hours on it. Replaced throttle cable, seat (arm rest broke), rear tires, 1 belt (all others original), muffler (backed into something a few years ago and dented it pretty bad - a hole finally rotted through it), and a few sets of mower blades. That's a pretty short repair list for a 10+ year old machine. It still runs great and cuts nice too!

I love mine. Great machine. Cuts tall or wet grass with ease.

I am about to demo a hustler, but that would be about the only other mower i would consider(unless it was a really good deal)
