I have an opertunity to pick up a slightly used Dixon 48" WB. Ayr they any good? I have not heard much about them. It is a belt drive. Should I wait and order a Quick 44? Thanks

I've got a Dixon 72" rider and love it, but one thing I've noticed as I've checked out different equipment, is Dixon is a little behind on the times on their walk behinds. They only have 2 or 3 models and aren't built as well or have as many features as Toro, Exmark, or other brands. Dixon's deck isn't as beefy as Toro's and they are a bit shallow. But if you're getting a good deal, Dixon still makes a decent mower. Compare the price with something brand new in a different brand with more features and then decide if you want to spend the money on it.
