Do these prices sound about right?

    Hi folks!

Was making my first flyer and thought about putting some general pricing info on it. Do these #'s seem about right for cutting and weeding and blowing a property?

    1 / 4 acre or less = $ 25
    1 / 3 acre = $ 35
    1 / 2 acre = $ 40
    3 / 4 acre = $ 45
    1 acre = $ 60
    > 1 acre = $ 60 + amt. of acres

I am oh so new at this if this is laughable or anything. :alien:

It's laughable. There is no formula for pricing.
My opinion, don't put prices on flyers, is a half acre lot with 15 lawn deco things, trees, obstacles, etc, a steep bank, on a corner lot, the same price as a flat wide open lawn on the same size property?
I will never give a price without walking the property.

yup agree with crawdad. Don't sell yourself short. What if there was a 1/4 acre, with 100 trees on it to trim around. Then it would be worth more than just $25.

Walk the properties, take in the terrain, number of obstacles, beds, trees, gates, hills, etc.

I agree with the guys as well, every single property is different. You just can't generalize prices like that, that's just like the customer who wants a quote over the phone, you doing the same thing just in the opposite fashion...hope this helps

I got a formula. Just made it up. Just for laughs.

Less than 1 acre $30 smooth lawn to $55 rough lawn.
    1ac $45-$55
    2ac $50 mean-2ac=48x2=$96 or 86-106
    3ac $50 mean-3ac=47x3=$141 or 126-156
    4ac $50 mean-4ac=46x4=$184 or 164-204
    5ac $50 mean-5ac=45x5=$225 or 200-250

After 5ac anything goes. But, once you get to 50ac it's free! LOL.

Rule of thumb for me. But, you have to walk the lawn. Smooth is less. Rough is more.
