Do you carry different trimmer line, or just use one type all the time.

I carry two types of line with me to all my mowing jobs.
Do you use different lines for jobs or just the same line all the time?

My lawns are all the same so it's only green Gator line for me.

i carry two lines with me pre spooled (7 total extra, an one of each machine) .95 wire core, an .155 wire core

I also carry 3 extra gear boxes with shredder blade, Aero blade, an Beaver Blade installed it's faster to just change out the gear box.

Take that back, I have three types in my tool box.
Shakespeare Ugly 095 triangle line. (I use this for heaver stuff, works great, but beats you to death with little rocks)
Echo Cross Fire .095 (Normal lawns)
An old spool of Hofco round .095 (Just have it left over from years ago, not sure why I carry it )

I have 2 types currently the blue Oregon platinum and the clear Oregon Gatorline. The blue cuts better but does not last long, the clear lasts longer but does not cut as well. I had a spool of .095 Stihl X-line that stuff really nice, it had a clean, crisp cut but it did not last long around brick or stone and edging. I have found if I pay attention to where the edge of the string is it seems to last longer

Just one. It's the kind that runs out 15 feet before the job is finished.

Same here. If the stihl would last like the gatorline it would be the best line out.
