Do you do your estimates at day, night, both (when the customer can meet)?

Was wandering... do you do most of your estimates during the day or at night? Or both... whenever the customer can meet?

I put both... just as my guess to what most will answer...

What has been the latest you did an estimate/ your avg time of day?

The best time to do bids is the 6pm to 8pm time, when both spouses are home. I get a much better close rate ( probably 50%) when both of them can meet me and feel confident in me and trust me. I meet with folks during the day, but usually just the wife/mother, and at 2-4k first year cost she usually has to run it by the husband, who has not met me. I close about 25% when I only meet one of the couple.

I figured meeting the wife would be the biggest thing to do. But with that kind of money I can see where you would need both...

My wife is not going to like this though... but she can deal with it.
