do you guys mix liquid iron in with 2,4-d

    is that a normal practice and do you mix anything else in there with it.

    i would think mixing in a little iron would be a cheap way to get the lawn looking it's best.

    how much do you put in with your mix.

    I would recommend using a fungicide along with it, because the iron and the remaining nitrogen from the spring feeding/pre-emergent can really bring out some problems like brown patch, rust, and such. I have 2 lawns that I'll never do it to again because they turned orange in 4 days.

    Nearly everyone around here that uses liquid would have N, fe, some 2-4-d type herbicide and pre-em in their spring applications, I also add manganese and K.

    We use it and have had great results in the past 5 years.
