Do you think they were NCMA Certified and used Grid?

    This is along the C&O Canal, about 6 miles from where I live. It's been there for decades, maybe at least a century. The guard rail is where the edge of a 2 paved lane road is.

    In person I can't see any mortar. But don't know for sure if any is tucked in back out of sight.

    What were they thinkin??? :hammerhead:

    Building a wall WITHOUT grid??? :hammerhead:

    And why did they not wait till NCMA came along and offered class and a course??? :hammerhead:

    Does NCMA offer Tech Specs. or offer certifications for dry-laid natural stone walls?
