Driving past the Dodge dealer today I saw the 4500 - 5500 series trucks with no beds on them for sale. Man they are some sweet looking trucks, I very briefle looked at the 4500 and would love to have one and get some sort of landscape bed installed! The truck was stickered at $40,000, I guess I would have to step my game up to think of something like that at this point. 0i didn't catch what engine it had, diesel I'm sure what size IDK. Does anybody have one thay would like to share some pics of, or just tell us how you like it. It looked like it had hydraulic brake wich is what I woul want.

How do I like lets just say 5500 miles and I love the truck. I mostly mow with her and at 48 feet that rig is about the biggest your going to see on the road. I got a few back ups each week I dread but as long as I keep the pile in the bed low and can see they seem to work out. As for power she hauls 4-5 yards of soil like its nothing and she gets decent mileage for a 9200 pound truck empty. I took her to New Hampshire a month ago and averaged 17.1 miles per gallon there and back and there are a lot of mountains where I went. The 52 gallon tank is enough for about 800-900 miles so she goes a long way on a tank. The interior is gorgeous and the back seats come in very handy you never know when your going to need to but all the trimmers and chainsaws in the back cause you need the bed. Now would I buy another one I plan too in the next 10 months its only fair my partner gets one too.

That is a very nice looking truck. Any inside pics? Is Cummins using DEF yet?

Yes they drink that stuff it seems about a gallon for every 1000 miles. As for inside pics next wash day ill snap some so I will have them ready she is a work truck and the inside collects so much trash and clothes and bottles its not funny.

My 2011 powerstroke has over 12,000 miles on it and my 5 gallon DEF tank has only been topped off one time. Doesn't seem to be a big deal.
