How many of you guys get landscaping from the dodge reports. I am looking to expand my install business so I am looking for avenues to get more bids out. This looks like it would be a decent tool to use although I am sure there are a lot of people bidding on these jobs. Just curious.

It is mostly construction stuff. The stuff I saw today was a lot of intersection stuff and things of that nature. I am looking for a way that I can find out resteraunts and things like that being built in the cities around me rather than just going by and looking. I have found that most of the time by the time it is being built all the work is already given out. Dodge reports may not be the place to find all that info but I did not know for sure.

I dont think you will find one like that for the small stuff we do but one thing I have started doing, and I have found a couple sites to keep an eye on using this method.

Google "accepting bids" or "notice to bidders" or "notice to contractors". Search it, then hit " show search tools", then press "nearby" , then hit "region"

Restaurant* :) these websites collect their info from county websites. Go to your local town hall and check out bids there in person
