Does a 32" Wright Velke rut alot? It looks like a hell of a mower but those skinny tires look very bad. Any opinions?

The rutting was my concern on the WB/Velke as well...tires are really skinny and 545 lbs dry worried me with rutting. Of course, the drive tires on the Stander I'm going to purchase aren't much wider either. I do like the way the Velke folds up though...pretty slick...

I dont think that there is any way that the mower could not rut. Thats alot of weight on those tires. The velkey is nice but you mights get ruts with it also because it has a tiny tire also.

I think a lot depends on the skill level of the operator...

Put in as many different patterns as you can if your worried about it. 3 alternating patterns should keep rutting from being an issue.

what much height adjustment can you get with the fixed deck? Can you only go up or down one inch from the base height with the front casters.
