The title says it all, does anyone make a walk behind version of a rock hound to prepare a smaller area to be seeded?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

That looks like what I need. Too bad my closest dealer is 6+ hours away.

Does anyone else know of a similar product?

I've been tilling, then raking by hand. I was hoping for something magic. There is a guy up the road that has a rockhound on his skidsteer, I think he only charges $50/hour or so. It's just huge for my yard which is big, but full of fences, trees, etc...

The quote I got for the 365 walk behind preseeder was $5450 with standard teeth and $5855 with carbide teeth. This was November of 2006.

I was quoted $4500.00 for the power unit and $3800.00 for the rake attachement, $2300.00 for the brush attachement, back in June of 2006.

WOW, big difference. This price came straight from the company.

A local tool equipment rental company is the sales company for the Turf Teq machine. I rented the power unit with a bed edger head. They put the wrong head on and of course it didn't work that good for the job I wanted to do. I wanted to rent it with the rake attachement but they wouldn't bring in the rake because I was the only one wanting to use it.
