Does anyone own a Gravely PM272z?

    My Church Has 3 PM 260s and was wondering how much better the 272s were.

    Better is relative. If you mean faster cut, sure. Probably in the neighborhood of 15% Real world. But you are more likely to scalp in turns and be underpowered in thick growth.

    I bought a PM 260 just for that reason. Well that and the 72 just wouldn't fit on most of my residential accounts.

    The 260's are a beast of a mower! 272's are a bit to big IMO.

    there is about 10 acres to mow and we want to get done faster--what do you mean by thick?
