Would love to hear from any Big Dog owners. I also was told the other day that Bid Dog was coming out with a new deck for 2014 with adjustable baffles. Has anyone else heard about this?

I talked with a crew leader running Big Dog mowers on a very large commercial site and they love the mowers.

I ran into a friend in the lawn maintenance business this week at the post office, and I noticed he had two Big Dog mowers with the 31 hp Kawasaki on his trailer. They looked brand new so I asked him what he thought about the mowers, he told me this would be their second day to run the mowers but from what he could tell so far he was going to like them a great deal. We have a dealer in our area which is a standout type person, this had something to do with him purchasing the Big Dog I feel assured.

The mowers looked really good, finish, build and layout, but then again I'm partial to the layout and operation of Hustler mowers for the fact I've run them several years. I see this person on a fairly regular basis, so I will keep up with his thoughts as he continues running them over time.

Are they planning on a stand-on mower?

They have a walk behind, not sure if they have a stand-on planned in the future.

I just checked out Big Dog online. The Diablo series looks really nice!! The models below that remind me of a Bad Boy type design and build....

What in the Big Dog lineup gives you a Bad Boy impression?

They use a basic design process that is very cheap to mass produce. Expenses are spared where ever possible to allow the end user to save money. They may be strong enough but are not over built like what we are accustom too.

I tried this walkbehind out for a couple days. Mower cuts great, stripes pretty good. I liked the way you set the cutting height (same as ZTR) and it has a deck lift lever for transport. I ended up buying a Snapper SW30 because I just could not get use to the controls on the Big Dog. I'm sure after awhile you would get use to it but I have always run Ferris walkbehinds and kinda partial to that setup.

The X and T series look good too. Id like to see them in person.
