    Hey all..

I just got Word Perfect/Quattro Pro 9 and can't figure out how to create a letter and apply the fields from a data base (name, address, etc.) to the letter? Maybe it can't be done?

Micro$oft Works was a snap to do it.. but I don't have it on my new pc...

    Any help?

    Is this a complete application?

I thought Word Perfect was just a word processor, and Quattor Pro was a spreadsheet application. If there isn't a database program included with this application, you may need to acquire that too. You may be able to read the Microsoft database you already have.

See if there is a tutorial, or try the Corel website:

    Thanks for the reply..

After much playing around (and hair pulling) I have figured out one way.. Using the address book as the database I can merge the fields to a letter.

Although it's a little more difficult to set up.. it's actually a little better than the M$ Works system that I had.. as it allows me to make individual changes in the letter for each customer. Good for price increases ;)
