In the early spring I posted about something invading my El Toro lawn that had brown seed heads. It is back again this year. It occurred to me that I never asked a basic question, and that is does El Toro itself have a seed head when not mowed frequently enough?

Yes it does. I have one account that I maintain with El Toro Zoysia. It gets seedheads if not cut about every 7 to 10 days.

Thanks Greenman. I have been trying to figure out if I was given sod infested with some kind of weed, or if that was just part of the El Toro itself. The seed heads appear a little quicker than I am used to seeing with other grass around here, so that it what was surprising me.
