I am taking my Bob-Cat mower (which I love!!!!!!!!!!) to the dealer tommorow because the Kawasaki engine is having an ignition problem. My question is, does it damage the Peerless transmission if I leave it in gear to keep it from moving on the trailer? The dealer loaded it on the trailer when I got it, and he just left it in gear. Some input would be appreciated.
  2. no wont damage it leaveing it in gear ...might damage other parts of the mower if you dont ..and it freewheels all over the trailer.

i have a Lesco 36" belt with a pearless & I always leave it in gear because that is the only thing that will act as a parking break when it is in transport.

I would strap your mowers down. It only takes a few minutes to do. If you get in a accident it might keep a 600 lb. + machine from flying around.
