I'm looking for the best way and/or the most cost effective way to get dog pee spots growing again.

I'm going to try a few different methods that I've been heard of including:

-burn off the dead grass and it will come back on its own
    -hydroseed it as is
-rough up with a rake, then hydroseed
-rough up with a rake, then cover will a soil, peat moss, lawn seed, and sand mix.

We use a wood fibre mulch, tackifier, and 10-52-52 fert mix in our hydroseed mix

Any other suggestions? or similar experiments?

I just toss grass seed onto the spot and with daily sprinkling to prevent dog spots, it usually germinates rather quickly... of course hydroseeding should be faster... :)

Nothing came up in the spots that were hydroseeded without any prep. We will try the raking and burning on the next go around

I've heard you need to flush that nasty stuff out of there,I just soak it and rake it after a few min of flushing it seed with your choice of seed and cover with some good soil,it just needs water obviously to start, good luck, otherwise explain to customer your dilemma

KBG will take a couples weeks even if the seed stays moist down in the dead grass thatch...
How much time did you give it to germinate???
