A client has asked us to construct a 1,900 square foot dog walking yard at an apartment complex. They have requested we use bark mulch for surfacing this area. It seems like the bark mulch could be a difficult surface to clean the dog poop out of. Does anybody have any suggestions for a better surface material?

Animals love to do their business in mulch.

    Makes sense to me.

I've seen stone dust used.......thing of it like cat litter. Mulch would blend too much with the poo and wilt away to nothing.
