DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LICENSE TO HAVE A LAWNCARE CO IN FLORDIA?:
in most parts of the state you do. In Jacksonville you do but in Orange Park you do not.
If its not required and you go the extra mile and get one, all your competitors who do not are at a disadvantage.
Be sure and get insurance as well.
Down where I am, an occupational license is required and costs $35.00. per year. A very small price to pay to be legal, IMO. I also highly reccomend commerical insurance to protect you and your equipment.
Where would you go about getting that liscense here in Jacksonville??
its issued thru the city.The office is located in the Yaeger Building on Forsythe St.The address is in the blue pages of the phone book under city of Jax....
nice links ;->
If you work south of the River you should also have a PG city license.
Ric, if your referring to the peace river, I do all my work right here in town. I have had some work in Punta Gorda, but not anymore I've condensed my route so I have alot less driving now. I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I guess you learn something everyday. My license says Charlotte County, so I assumed it meant Punta Gorda also. Thanks.
yes PG city has its own License cost $ 50.00 a year. Just a tax stamp thing like the county License. I work 75% BSI 20% PGI and just alittle PC. However my pest contol goes 4 county. Give me a ring and we will have beer. I am the guy who use to run around town in a horse and carriage on saturdays with a bride and groom in the back. Also you may have seen me in Boca Grande I had a horse and carriage business there for Many years until the big "D" Now I live under the north side of the bridge and drive that chrome huffy Spray bike. 629-ANTS 764-YARD
