I know thew "told you so's" are coming, but after working with the dreaded USM on several snow accounts, and getting paid reasonably well I might add, I was assured by USM rep that we would get "priority" when bidding lawn and landscape. So, when time came I bid 6 locations at their "target rate",which meant I met their offered price. This was hoping I would get the work. Notification date was supposed to be on or about 2/23. Since I did not hear back, today I emailed to ask when notifications would be sent. Guess what, they were sent out "a few weeks ago", meaning our bid, even though it met their price, was not good enough on any of the locations. Must have been someone well underbid all locations. With loyality like that, no wonder no one want to work with them! You jump through the hoops, and they make it smaller and smaller.
  2. they are a great company.
