The thing I noticed was no mention of a license or any of that. I would think you'd at least want "licensed, bonded, and insured" somewhere on there. I am assuming you are, right? And maybe put the actual license number on there too. In our state, it's law that you have to have your lic. number on every advertisement, vehicle, etc. But regardless of whether it's law there or not, it just seems like a good idea. Why leave people wondering if you're licensed or not?
I also agree with the Skid Steer comments. Personally, I would just leave that out. I have never had someone call or email asking for Skid Steer or Bobcat work. They ask for landscaping, excavating, etc. Anyway, I think that's unnecessary.
Finally, I would include the phrase, "Design / Build". That's the catch phrase in the industry now. It tells the public that you're more than just a lawn guy who does a few other things but you're actually a full scale design and build firm. That helps you get the big jobs.
All of this is fine, but what's in it for the customer? It looks like every other add just talks about you. NO ONE cares about you. All the customer is thinking is whats in it for me. Where are the benefits.
Why should anyone chose you over the next guy. Shorten up the list of what you do, and tell people why you're there best choice. Sell benefits not features. Face it, any other company can do whats on your list. Make yourself the clear choice.
Also, I don't know if it's just me but it sounds bad to say ect. I like specifics or nothing. But thats just me.
What is the story with the lower half of the leaf in your logo? It is white in some spots but clear in another. You need to keep it consistent. Also, you should not have the cutout for the door knob going through the logo.
It's not just one part of the leaf that is clear. The entire logo on the top left is "opaque" on purpose. It's designed to be that way, so that it blends with the grass in the back. I think it's a very good design idea. That's why I love professional designers. They always come up with clever stuff that I'd never think of.
Yes, the green parts of the one logo are translucent (not opaque). However, there is no translucent white in it. It is clear and an inconsistent use of the logo.
It looks better that way, IMHO.
And I still say Opaque is the correct word for it.
it looks great.. without upsetting anyone i think its one of the nicer designs i have seen...

because really you don't plow or remove ice......ln fact i always hated that but couldn't think of a way to write it better..
