I am so very glad you took the time to say that, I have been trying to find that out and it just confirmed what I guy just told me that sells Christian Phone book adds. He said I could do it as long as I did not knock on doors or approach people. also if they have that sign on the home, then don't do it.
Before my very first time distributing door hangers I called the sheriff's department and asked them what the law was. It was that simple.
And thats what they told you.......
Yes. They said it was okay to put door hangers on peoples front doors without a solicitation permit.
No.........I ment was it OK to hang them in a sub division that was signed "No Solictation"?
Yes. However, you should check the laws where you are.
Cool..........do you know where I should start? like who am I looking up..
Would it make sense to hang them on the mailboxes by the street? I think they can be hung on the little red flag. Right? That's the way I'm planning to hand mine out instead of having to walk up to each door. saves time.
Thats a good idea! Has anyone else done this?
That whole mailbox law....Is it just for placing items in? or is it against touching it at all? In which this would not be the best idea I guess.
Very interested on input for this...
