Hey guys, I'm due for my first FMCSA annual inspections on my 550 and 12,000# trailer.... I'll be calling a local truck service place that offers the inspections. Anyone have some experience with this and how much it'll cost?? I've heard rumors of a few hundred bucks. Just wanted to see if these guys were gonna be in a ballpark in terms of cost. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the replies. I actually called a truck shop this morning who does the inspections and the guy was like, "Bring it in now!" So it was 72$ per "vehicle" (truck-trailer) and they did my filters and oil while I was there, for extra.... Anyway, got the inspection stickers and in the process found a GREAT truck shop that does everything and is located in a great spot.

You can buy the stickers at any truckstop and do the inspections yourself, legally. Cost about $3 for the sticker.
