Customer is requesting this. To me that is to much traffic on a yard. Even with my walk behind I feel like that is a lot. Am I way out of line thinking this way or should I just do it since it Is what the customer wants? Let me know your thought.

Is there a particular reason that he stated why he wants it mowed that often? Any other time then the spring it seems like a little much. I would explain your thoughts to him on the issue. Yet do not forget that it is more money in your pocket and a happy customer is always a good customer.

If one wants to TRULY subscribe to the 'removing 1/3 of the length of grass' rule...then cutting 2x/week is about the only way to do so...especially in the Spring. However, I've yet to find even one customer that will 'subscribe'.

Just make sure you don't go in the same tracks. Use like 4-5 different directions and offset you tracks. You could checkerboard a yard up quick mowing it so often.

Thats the other things wants stripes north south east west every time. I think if I don't go in same tracks it will just look very cluttered?

if you're gonna double up/ twice a week that property will have some serious stripes that really won't be stripes anymore-you might as well stay with his request and cut it in 2 directions-at least the stripes will remain visible.

I cut this property 4 directions-but usually not twice a week with a double to boot.

explain your concerns to the customer, but in the end if he is paying for it and requesting it either do it or drop him.

Well turned in the quote to him we will see what it says. I priced it a 52 mows we usually cut 26 here in Iowa for slightly cheaper then what i would usually charge someone with the same size yard for a double cut knowing that i will never have to cut much off and that weed eating should be slim to none the second time each week. Hope he goes for it could be a big account for me. thanks for the help guys

I have a whole route like that. Tuesday and Friday. Luv it. We skip when needed but only on tuesday. They are hit every friday no matter what. And no irrigation on any of them.

thats no problem at all, just keep your blades sharp.. i would only stay with that spring and fall..im on my phone forgot to look where your from..but in jersey i couldnt do that during summer...go for it man. extra money!!

i cut on a golf course. we cut bentgrass everyday, rye everyother day, and fescue twice a week. sometes 3 depenging on the place..you wont do any damage.
