dstifel: It dose sound a little over the top, but the customer is always right. So do want he asks and charge him well. You could have a great customer if you make him happy.

    Yup, same here.
    No subscribers at this time.
Most want to take 6-8 inches at a time.
Some people are broke, some are stupid, most are a little of both.
Hard to PRETEND to be a people person in the service industry.
I hide my disdain just long enough to get back in the truck.

I bump my lawns up to 3.5"-4" by May to COPE with the Spring growth. Seriously, I've offered to mow 2x/wk a TON of times to anyone that will listen...but never had a taker. Good for you...AND your customer!

Yea I am trying to figure out how to put together a flyer or brochure using this yard as an example of how much better it can be for your yard vs traditional ways to show to new customers. We will see how it goes

I agree that it's wise to make your customers happy, but 2C's, 2X's a week is way over the top IMO. His lawn is gonna look like crap sooner than later, espcially with no irrigation. The turf just won't handle that much traffic without showing permanent tracks/stress marks. I would try to explain the 2C's per week should eliminate the need to also double cut each time.

I have tried to explain this i imagine once i start and his yard starts to show wear i can say see this is what i was referring to last spring when we talked. IF he actually does water it as much as he claims to ig it should be ok then.

If he irrigates a lot, then I'd expect rutting to occur. Do you know why he wants this much cutting done p/wk?
