Cut a big lot last week. The owner asked that it be cut to 4"
So I cut it 4" He liked it.
Then a day later I come by, And its cut to the ground.:nono: Come to find out a guy that was cutting a lot about 1/4 mile down the road. Cut the wrong lot:hammerhead:
Now it looks like crap. He cut it down to dirt..And even when to the guy and asked him to pay.:nono:
So now what can I do to get the grass through the drought?
Yes it was turning brown when I cut it.

Don't cut it again until it recovers, it shouldn't have been brown then, a stressed area needs to be left alone.

If the homeowner's up to it, I'd see about setting a farm sprinkler up with an inline hose timer, and irrigating the entire lawn ONE time at 2-3 hours per area covered.

If he has an irrigation system, just keep it active, and patience.

Sorry to hear about this, I'd hate to see that on one of my lots.

    Thanks
But theres no water on or near the lot. Just cleared it back in the winter time. And got the grass growing good. Then this.

All you can do is pray for rain and stay off of it completely until it recovers.

Well if theres no rain a few days. There will be a 260'X280' lot with dead grass.
It looks like you have sprayed it with round up.
