Okay guys, I've seen a bit on here about using double blades (two blades on the same spindle, one above the other at right angles to one another) on mowers. Is this a common practice that a lot of you do? Do any manufacturers recommend it or rec. against it? Are there any bad aspects of doing this and is a special bracket needed to keep the blades perpendicular? I'd love to increase productivity but don't want to try something that could hurt my machines (36" Snapper wb w/12.5hp Kawasaki, 52" Snapper Pro Cruiser w/22hp Kohler, 61" Snapper Pro Cruiser w/25hp Kohler). :blob4:
