Thanks for the info. It definitely pulls the mowing trailer like nothing is there. I put my boat behind it which is about 6000 pounds and it pulls it very well too. I can feel it there, but still MUCH better then the Ram.

    To answer your questions:
PMD has been relocated, but I am going to buy an extension harness and move it further.
No EGT gauge yet. I am going to get one of those and a boost gauge soon.
I did the oil cooler lines as soon as I got it. I have been reading a lot about them over at dieselplace..com. I upgraded them with the stainless braided from Heath? I think that was it.

Any more tips would be greatly appreciated!

Diesel place is a awesome site, I've posted over there before.
I had my PMD moved to the "nostril" in the front bumper and haven't had a big issues yet. It stays pretty clean of snow and debris.
The one thing that helps with your EGT's as well is opening up to the exhaust, the guy I bought mine from eliminated the soot collect and put up a 4in exhaust.
I still have the factory steel and rubber oil cooler lines in mine and are starting to show there age, looking pretty wet.

Other tips, I run a additive in the fuel. My entire fuel system is stock, it doesn't like the bio part in diesel, it will still run with it but does better with the additive mixed in. Always carry a extra fuel filter with you, changing it out will eliminate 90% of you fuel problems. These trucks are meant to run #2.

I have been doing the additive thing for sure. I have been using Amsoil 2 stroke mixed in.

A few more updates and new accounts including 2 new commercial properties and a play field by a childrens playground. The commercial properties will continue to look better. When I got them they were quite over grown, but I am excited to have them in my lineup and for my portfolio I am getting ready for next year for recruiting more commercial work.

Hello all! As our season wraps here in Ohio, I am looking back with happiness and sadness...

I found out my wife has an offer for a job in NC. My mother lives down there (New Bern) and my wife put in for a job not expecting much. It seems she might get it. We are SERIOUSLY considering moving down. I went full time this year starting out with only 2 accounts....neighbors. I have built it up to 32 weekly residential customers and 8 commercial accounts. I will have to completely start over with what I understand a completely different mowing style and grasses.

Can someone give me a rundown of cutting in NC. Please look at my equipment list and let me know how this fits with the climate and grasses in NC. What is the preferred mowing height in NC and what blades? In my Mom's area, it sees to be mostly Bermuda grass. Should I run a mulching kit or no? Please ay other tips for the area would be great.

Thanks for your help. If anyone in Ohio is interested in some accounts please let me know. I will know within the next month if I am going or not.

Also, here is my new to me trailer. I will be refurbing it as soon as I pick it up tomorrow. This is all his equipment, not mine.
