It turns out that leaf removal in my area is not much in demand
as I thought it was. What little demand there is has been taken
by 3 or 4 other LCO's. I also need to add another walk behind
this season so I may consider a trade. The machine itself
is excellent. It is as advertised. Well built and very strong suction.
I could vacuum a 1/4 acre yard with moderate leaf fall without dumping.
Hope this answers your question. Sorry for the delayed response-
I've been away for a few days.

does this just suck piles or can the hose attach to the mower deck to suck them up while driving?

Its a pull behind vacuum and it does both. A custom boot fits on
the discharge of the deck and is piped to the shredder. You can
also remove the tube from the custom boot and use it to vacuum
up leaf piles (a very handy feature). It basically works the same way as
the ones attached to mower like the Hustler Back Vac only its run by its
own engine. The boot is custom made to fit your paticular mower. Its not a one size fits all kind of thing. The one I have is for a Kubota 72" Pro Deck which I will throw in if the buyer wants it as it will be of no use to me. It may be possibleto retrofit to another mower with a little modification.
