If I were to run a drainage pipe under ground down a slope would it be better to use a pvc pipe or a drain tile pipe. The thinking with the drain tile is incase the pipe gets clogged under ground the drain tile should still let water flow through without backing up any water. Let me know, thanks guys.

What is your plan for the water? Are you running it to a specific release point?

If your just moving water, use 3034 Sewer pipe, as its much stronger than corrugated drain pipe.

If you need to collect the water as you move it, then consider using your typical drain tile and rock.

I plan on having my release point be as close to the curb as possible out in the street.

If this is a typical gutter downspout application then use a solid pipe, whether corrugated or not. As Jon said, if you're trying to drain a soil area then go drain tile. If you're moving water from point A to point B use solid pipe.
