draining

    building code restricts water from moving from one side of a street to the other, right?
    this is at my house, the houses across the street from me are new construction, the previous lot had a ditch that channeled the water down the street into a storm sewer. now that it is coming one hell of a downpour, i get to watch erosion in action from the water coming over the street, and running through my yard, flooding my beds, and running down my driveway with my mulch at top speed...

    Call your county or city's codes inspector and tell him what's going on. He will make the builder fix the problem.

    thanks, i wasn't sure who would end up fixing it...
