Has anyone used the DRchipper? Looks like it would be nice to have on brush removal jobs. It's advertised for homeowner use but its not something I would be using everyday.

Never used one but have rented a very small Vemeer chipper(25 hp) and it was slow going. It made nice chips but what in could do in 8 hours my chipper would have taked 3 hours. My .02 homeowner stuff should not be used, you can by a cheap tool twice or a good tool once.

Yeah the one in the link is the chipper I was talking about. Looks pretty heavy duty for homeowner line of equipment.

Very well said. Unfortunately in the past I learned that the hard way especially with trimmers...

Yeah but a trimmer is used everyday for several hours a day. This is something that would maybe be used 3 or 4 times a month.
