drive noise

    i am new at this dixon stuuf and today i bought a dixon 2301 for i good price and the guy said it need cone adjustment on the left side.. well when i got home i starte it and put a light load on the cone driv and to squalls as soon as the vertical cones on the left and right side make thsat noise as soon as it hits the main drive cone i guessing its called... my question it looks metal to metal to me..is the main cone suppose to have a rubber surface or a waxed surface or what..please help me out
