Dropping the trailer to save gas?

    Every now and then I just use my 21". I have a tommy gate. Very efficient and easy!!

    Why are you pulling a trailer start with only a 21'' mower Get your self hitch hauler and strap on it So still have room in the bed for ur bag grass if you bag

    I pull 24 ft goose neck trailer I haul 3 big mowers In town I get 10 mpg you wont hear me bitck on that Gas goes up customers get charge fuel charge gas goes down I lower fuel charge

    Only way to know is to not use your trailer for a week and see how much you save.

    You have a 5x8 trailer. I assume it is open so it's light weight. And you only have a 21" mower. So you can just work out of a pick up truck.

    Thing is some guys have to use big trailers because the have to carry every thing they own whether or not they will use it.

    I don't bring hedge trimming equipment when I mow lawns and don't bring my mowing stuff when I do hedges.

    OP states that he uses 21" on Most of his lawns...sounds like he has a bigger mower.
