Is there anyone from Birmingham, AL? Just wanted to find out how you guys are dealing with the drought issues and to see if I could get some ideas from you.

What I have done is to reduce the number of days I work to three so that I can save on my labor, and work two days a week doing transport.

I did too...for about a month back in 1991. Then went to work for Envionmental Design Group...also worked for them (EDG) in Atlanta. I used to see their trucks here in Montgomery but haven't really noticed any lately.

As for the drought, we got a little over an inch of rain over the weekend. We have cut back on our irrigation.

We get our flowers from a nursery in Alabaster. I understand B'ham and surrounding areas are under mandatory water restrictions.
