Hi,I'd like to build a dry-stacked retaining wall and I have some questions. The wall will be between 1' to 1 1/2' high.I'm going to use the stone from a wall that is falling down on our property.Do I have to put a base down or can I build right on the soil?If I need a base what do I use?Do I back fill with gravel?Should I use a weed-block fabric?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thankyou.
