Ive been wondering this for a while, but have always forgot to ask it. On my fs-90 there is a black peice of plastic between the throttle and the handle, that goes around the shaft. Is that for a trimmer rack or something? Ive never really figured it out.

    Thanks

I think they put it there to annoy you and make it turn upside down every time you try to carry it by the shaft.

That is actually a safety feature, it's designed to keep you from moving the handle any further back than it already is. The credit for this answer goes to the owner's nephew at the dealership I go to.

Its also good if you carry the trimmer over your shoulder. Dosen't hurt as much as metal on bone.

Man, your reading my mind. Just bought a 90r today and when I got it home I was wondering what the h*** this things for. I thought it was something for the dog to grab onto when she fetches the trimmer.

    Good tip! Thanks!

  10. I'd like it better if it didn't turn. Any ideas on how to fix it?
