I have an 87 chevy Dump truck the problem is when I dump out the load the bed goes down very slow and sometimes I have to manually push it down but when I have a full load it goes down fine does anyone know what the problem may be?

I would go to the hyd. fluid tank and check the vent . May be plugged.

i'll agree on the vent. also make sure everything is greased correctly. if you dont grease often, its gets all hard, then when you DO grease, it doesnt go around the pin as it should, just makes one little path. make sure the linkage is operating the spool valve completely in both directions. and please, USE THE BODY PROP WHEN FOOLING WITH A DUMP BED.
