has anyone build say and 8 X 8 X 6 box to put on a trailer to dump leaves from? I have a 6X12 single axle and im upgrading to a 16 ft double so im thinking keeping the 12 footer for leaves. Is it possible to make a dumping leaf box? Has anyone done this?

I'm sure it could be done, but if you have the standard 3500 lb. single axle trailer, by the time you added the dump box with high sides for leaves, the trailer would weigh close to 3500 lbs. before you put anything in it. That is why most dump trailers are tandem axle.
